PLANNED PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

The number one force is the never-ending need for users to lower their costs.  Our approach to maintenance focuses on prevention and prediction rather than on repairing when a failure has occurred. This approach gives our clients and us a great cost advantage. Our customers will experience reduced downtime and other surprises will be kept to a minimum. Both overall maintenance costs and costs due to lost production will be reduced.

Pro Cranes extensive and thorough Servicing & Maintenance Schedules will reduce breakdowns and increase the life of your company’s equipment by ensuring all appropriate adjustments are made to brakes, clutches & limits. Not carrying out these basic adjustments through regular maintenance can result in your company having to bear the cost of expensive repairs and even replacement of equipment, not including the extra cost associated with the loss of production. As most manufactures carry limited stocks of new hoists and spares, you may have to wait weeks to resume production. Pro Cranes aim is to save your company costly downtime by carrying out planned maintenance to rectifying and reporting any defects.

Pro Cranes can service and maintain all brands and models of lifting equipment, all at competitive rates.  With fully trained, experienced & highly competent field engineers, who have access to a wide range of spares, enabling us to provide a rapid response service.

Pro Cranes have a fleet of service vehicles, each stocked with spares to enable us to provide in the moment repairs enabling you to operate business as usual.

By law all lifting equipment, including existing, second-hand, leased & new must comply with the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).

The LOLER Regulations state that all lifting equipment needs to be “thoroughly examined at specified periods”. The inspection period depends on the equipments uses and type, but the Regulations recommend that this should be at least six-monthly for tackle/accessories and at a minimum, annually for all other equipment.  An insurance inspector’s visit does not satisfy the legislation, this is where RHC Lifting Ltd can help you.  RHC Lifting will produce an examination schedule to inspect and maintain your lifting equipment to ensure the latest Regulations are met.
